Swamp entangler disenchant7/7/2023 ![]() I had i thought when sitting at my pc trying to break into an ubuntu server. Ignores damage to armor and shield, but splits damage 50/50 between the target and the host. This especially shows through enemies with hull, shield, and armor. this one looks the best on paper and feels pretty bad in battle.however it does not make deal enough damage from the damage dealt to you to make it useful against enemies. both do great damage that outclass this mode and even the base modeĭeals an additional 30% damage to the target. If youre looking for a damage over time e the corrosion injector or the virus. other than that its pretty useless on other ships. The bomber with its natural hull regeneration can take advantage of it the most when no hull or shield is present. this completely negates the whole use case of dealing damage with repairs. energy orbs fully upgraded restore some armor and shield, and you also get a little armor when killing enemies as well. and worse yet, you would need to have no shield and no armor. you would need absurd health (like 20k) with nano bots to make it usefull. on ships with relatively low hull points (i tested it on my ship which has 3k hull), it doesnt do nearly enough damage to make itself useful as a weapon. this sounds pretty good on paper.unfortunately it has some issues. this is probably the most usefull one since nanobots can suddenly be weaponized. it is borderline useless sadly on medium and smaller ships unless you have lots of shield, lots of spare armor, and lots of hull (a gunship for example or a bomber with its insane hull renegeration) you need to take a fair bit of damage to hurt an enemy. This sounds pretty good on paper.until you factor in enemies are about on par with a normal ship builds in terms of hull and armor. i will go through them and talk about problems with each.įor 18 seconds, deal all damage with a 50% increase to the target. The quantum entangler has 4 modes (including base mode). If you need it, you can just hit your spellbook key and its there = ) I guess it really depends on how much stuff you have/want to have on your action bars. The idea of taking damage and dealing damage by taking damage is pretty cool.but the quantum entangler is too weak to be of any use towards any enemies exept drones.which are already weak. Disenchant the non-valuable greens and blues you acquire until you're no longer leveling enchanting from disenchanting items, and then you can begin your skill ups with enchantments.Īs for the poster above, I do put the disenchant icon on the bar of my "enchant bank" but I don't have it there for my main. ![]() Not only common practice for "hackers," a lot of raiding players will occasionally pick up level 1 enchanting to DE their old/retired gear for the valuable large brilliants and nexus shards and then relearn their previous profession like herbalism which is somewhat easy to level.įor beginning enchanters: disenchanting is basically how you get the profession moving. One of the biggest affects will be on high end shards. For Example, a level 60 green may now require level 225 enchanting to disenchant. However, in the next patch (2.0) and in TBC, Blizzard is implementing an Enchanting level requirement for disenchanting items. Comment by 2590Currently you can have an "disenchanting" alt where you can send all your greens etc and Disenchant them into stackable, storable enchanting materials for future use/investment.
