Accessible beige color strip6/30/2023 Bakelite Gold is a strong gold color, but pulls in orange tones as well, making it a fun option for a pop of color. While Woven Wicker brings out the green in Evergreen Fog, Bakelite Gold brings out the gray, contrasting its warm tone against the cooler tone of Evergreen Fog. Used as a wood-tone for accent furniture inside or trim work or shutters outside, it is another fun option with Evergreen Fog.īakelite Gold (SW 6368) is bright and bold. Reminiscent of wicker or rattan, it is a nice mid-tone color with subtle gold undertones, especially in comparison to its close color neighbors. It’s considerably softer than the oppressively warm and overly yellow beiges of the past. As far as beiges go, this one is a great choice. In a north facing room, an Accessible Beige wall color will look more gray, while in a south facing room, it looks warmer and more. Accessible Beige (SW 7036) by Sherwin Williams is a popular neutral for both exteriors and interiors. The main colors you will see are yellow undertones and slight green undertones. Woven Wicker (SW 9104) is three steps up on the same paint color strip from Uber Umber. Accessible Beige is a warm tan-beige color with significant gray undertones. I wouldn’t choose to paint this on main walls, but it’s a gorgeous complement to Evergreen Fog and I can envision the color in a leather chair or throw pillows, or even outside in a wood front door or painted on shutters. SW 7036 Accessible Beige FULL DETAILS Unlike many beiges, this color has undertones of gray that can give your space a warm, snug feel. It is a deeper version of El Caramelo (SW 9106) and certainly presents itself as a burnt caramel color, not too brown and not too orange. The first paint color, Uber Umber (SW 9107) is by far the darkest of the three and adds in some rich contrast to Evergreen Fog. Warm and rich, they are certainly on trend with popular wood tones, caramel or butterscotch leather, and the revival of gold and even brass tones in design. While the first three paint colors are more familiar (especially Urbane Bronze as Sherwin Williams’ 2021 color of the year) and have even previously been featured in our blogs, the last three are those at which I’d love to take a closer look. ![]() Just this week Sherwin Williams listed its top 6 favorite pairings with Evergreen Fog: Shoji White (SW 7042), Urbane Bronze (SW 7048), Accessible Beige (SW 7036), Uber Umber (SW 9107), Woven Wicker (SW 9104), and Bakelite Gold (SW 6368). A gorgeous color that can certainly hold its own, pairing it with other dreamy Sherwin Williams’ colors makes it an even greater paint color choice. Sherwin Williams recently announced (and Elite Pro recently featured a blog about) its 2022 paint color of the year, Evergreen Fog SW 9130. ![]() While the end of this year nears, planning for next year is in full swing with many businesses and retailers. It is almost November now and the weather forecast is telling the tale of winter around the corner. Sherwin Williams Announces Paint Color of the Year
